I Love Singapore!

I'm back. I'm back from Singapore Trip, a very nice and wonderful trip.
I love Singapore, I love the buildings there, I love the night view there, I love Universal Studio, I love all about Singapore. Every people that had been there told me "Singapore very small only, nothing special and go there for one day is enuff!". But, I found out that its not true at all, its not enuff for me even spending 3 days 2 nights there.

A very shame thing happened at the beginning of the journey, we are almost late going up to the flight, sitting at MCD drinking coffee and chit-chat-ing, seems like very enjoying and suddenly found out that TIME's UP!!! Quickly running to the immigration counter to check-in. "Tan Hui Ling! Tan Shou Miew! Low Sin Wei! Tan Hui Siang! ...", announcement from the speaker. OMG, we started to nervous and quickly running to the flight gate. Luckly, the flight is still there for us! Hahaha! So funny and shamed! ^.^

Wow... Changi Airport is very big and beautiful. Peter is waitin' for us out there. When I'm depart from Changi Airport to the apartment (hotel) by taxi, along the way, I felt that its nothing special, the highway, environment, building, is almost similar with KL City. The most biggest different is Pollution, Air and Rubbish. My apartment is located at Toa Payoh Block 145, just 5 minutes walk from Toa Payoh's MRT station. Peter book this apartment for us thru online, cost $270 for 4 persons and 2 nights. Initially, I thought that we are rented the whole apartment, but its actually not, we are staying together with the owners, hahaha! But it was consider cheap also as compared to others hotel.

The 1st station, we are going to Bugis Street by MRT. Buy a MRT pass $12 with $7 inside (Top-up $10 more at the 2nd day), Touch n Go, so convenience! Inside the MRT, I found out that, 90% of Singaporian are using iPhone, its very normal there. We having lunch @ Bugis Street, just around $7 for one set of meal, not so expensive as we thought before came. After that, girls go shopping @ Bugis Street, Peter and me going to Sen Lin IT Building (just like Lowyat @ KL), hunting for LOWEPRO bag, the MUST BUY thing of this trip. Finally found a nice shop on 6th floor, looks like very pro in DSLR field, only selling DSLR stuffs. Asking for price, Flipside 400: $165, Inverse 200: 115. I have to buy one Flipside 400 for my own, and two Inverse 200 for my friends. How much can be discount? $5 for each bag. More discount for total of 3 bags? $10, and GST $20 can be refund @ Airport. The bags become very cheap at the end. Happy!^.^

Next station, going to Marina Bay, Youth Olympic Park, (Singapore Flyer and many others tall building were surrounding us).

Wow...! A very spectacular scene in front of me, building, buildings, buildingss, buildingsss... "Very nice, very nice! Singapore!", in my heart. Backpackin' 1 bag, Handtakin' 2 bags, walking around, from day to night, walau, suppose to have some service charge for that 2 bags! Having a short rest, taking some picture, the night scene @ Marina Bay is very very nice! I can't wait to take out my camera!

Going to have dinner @ Geylang Lorong 9 with Jessica's brother and sister, waiting taxi in front of Marina Bay's Casino. Looking up, a very spectacular building in front of me, "looks like a ship landing on three tall buildings". Frog Porridge Geylang Lorong 9, Nice!

Going to Singapore Flyer by taxi, very funny taxi driver, "Emily is Pretty!", the uncle said. "Uncle, are you ok!?" Singapore Flyer is the biggest ferris wheel in the world, my friend Peter said. Really!?!? But looks like smaller than Eye of Malaysia, hahaha! Peter started not happy with this, hahaha! We didn't ride on it, too expensive! Walk around there, viewing on the wonderful night scene, reflection of the buildings' light on the river, it was so fascinating. Walking to MRT station going back to Toa Payoh's apartment. Tired, but still need to wait those 3 girls bath 1st, then only my turn! @#$%#%$#@! But nvm, I can have one big big bed for my own, and they have to share one, hahaha! Sweet Dream!

Wake up morning 7am, meet Peter 8am @ Toa Payoh's MRT station, but he was late lah! Start our 2nd day journey, going to Universal Studio @ Sentosa Island. We have to take monorail to there from Vivo City, so having breakfast @ Vivo City Food Court. A new member joining in, Peter's Wife, Nicole. The Universal Studio's tickets are pre-buy thru online by Peter, cost $72, for only enter to Universal Studio was too expensive, I felt initially.

But its worth, when I'm standing there, even just one step after the entrance, it was too nice, and many beautiful buildings at both side of me when i'm walking along the street. Same, I can't wait to take out my camera! Who can in such nice place?

Oops...! Many people inside there, need to wait so long for playin' a game, and even takin' a picture, we suppose not to come during holiday time! Big Mistaken! Many interesting activities and games inside, all is under international class, don't compare it with Sunway Lagoon @ Malaysia, its totally different class! Madagascar Photo Session, Dragon Dungeon Roller Coaster, Shrek 4D Cenima, Lost World Water Boat, Mummy Roller Coaster, Waterworld's War Live show, Donkey Live Concert, etc...

A very important and funny topic must be mention here, its about my brother Peter while playing "The Mummy Roller Coaster". Before playing he looks like very stable, not scared at all, even keep laughing on Emily, whose not dare to play that game (Actually he scared to play also, but still proceed becoz of scaring us laughing on him). And finally when we come out from the game after playing, we saw Peter's scary face with tiny eyes and shrink like a mouse there. Hahahaha! A photo is actually captured during the time when the roller coaster descending in a very high speed. Hahahaha! Hey, Peter, don't act lah next time, just tell us you not dare to play and wanna wait outside with Emily, we won't laught at you, what! Hahahaha! I should buy the photo actually, just $20, else how am I going to laught at you next time! Hahahaha! (Emily remind me to wrote this topic, don't blame on me, Peter!) But, honestly, this game really very exciting and scary, a MUST TRY game in Universal Studio.

Having Lunch @ Jurassic Park Food Court with Meal Voucher provided, foods there are not bad and with reasonable price. Buying some souvenirs @ Madagascar souvenir shop for my nephew Hervin, his birthday is on next day, a book and a pen with his favorite Madagascar's character. Walking to the last part of Universal Studio, New York City. Night is coming, and the light of buildings illuminate the whole New York Street, such a wonderful scene, felt like I'm really walking on New York's Street. Buying a small pinky bag for my lovely Joyce @ Betty Boop souvenir shop, acceptable price, not bad! That's how we end up in Universal Studio.
Before Leaving Sentosa Island, we visit to Sentosa Casino, just go in and walk around to have a look even we are not interested on gambling, so next time when people ask "Did you go Sentosa Casino before?", and i can answer them loudly "Yes, of course!". Hahaha, that's why we go in! Peter and his wife waitin' us out there, becoz Singapore PR have to pay $100 entrance fee, Pity! Monorail Queue very long, and we decided to go out from Sentosa Island back to Vivo City by bus, Surprisingly, it was free! But, Peter don't know it at all, funny! Hahaha! Meet up with Jessica's brother @ Vivo City and having Dinner there, a Taiwan Restaurant, looks like not bad, try it!

Last station of 2nd day, Orchard Road. Peter said it is a MUST GO place in Singapore, branded street, else don't tell people that u came Singapore before! Don't know whether it is true or not. "Peter, sure or not!?". Hahaha! But that orchard road really make me surprise, a long long street like with no end, and all shopping mall at both side of the street with all huge branded signboard and shop, LV, Prada, Gucci, Armani, etc... Nike and Adidas is WHAT there!? Walk and walk and walk, my leg become numb and numb, i think all of us are the same. "Hey, all of you, don't act like feel nothing ok!?"

Take a rest beside, eatin' yummy ice-cream, a rectangle shape ice-cream, Yummy! Walking back to MRT station and back to Toa Payoh's apartment, Sweet Dream and ready for last day of our trip tomolo. "Hey, Peter, don't late again tomolo ok!?"

Oops... Last day coming, it was too fast! Packing all our things, get ready to check out later on 3pm. Having a simple breakfast @ Toa Payoh's Food Court. Going to Clark Quay. Walking around, its a very nice place with a river and boats, and some very art shoplots beside (a bit like Melacca). Again, I can't wait to take out my camera! Clark Quay is a nightlife place with bars and pubs, actually we should come at night, having some beers and enjoying the nightlife style here. "Who want to void the air ticket and stay one more night?". Nobody answering me, but i knew, their answer is 'YES, But...', how good if tomolo is still holiday. Suddenly needed, lookin' for a public toilet there, Peter said he was very familiar on there, he know where is the toilet. But, searchin' for almost 15 minutes, where is the toilet, God! OMG, just tell me you don't know where is it next time, ok? Hahaha!

Walking back to Clark Quay's MRT station, going to Chinatown by MRT, just next station from Clark Quay. But, funny thing happened here, when we go out from Chinatown's MRT station, lookin' around, eh... Clark Quay's street that we went just now is opposite of us, but we take MRT to come here! OMG... Peter, how long you are in Singapore dy? Hahaha! Don't repeat this kind of mistake next time when you be tour guide again, Shame! Shame like the MOTHER in "IT USED TO BE GREEN ONCE"! Hahaha! Damn Funny! You make a big mistake at the end, how am I going to grade you "A" for the whole trip's guide, even you done well at first two days. Hahaha! It was too hot out there, having some drinks and ice-creams @ Swensen, before walking to Chinatown. Searchin' for Chinatown Museum located @ Pagoda Street. $10 entrance fee, that's a historical place to find out why Chinatown called "Niu Zhe Xui". After spending an hour in the museum, walk around Chinatown to buy some souvenirs. Not much special as compared to Petaling Street @ KL. Buying Singapore famous "Lin Zhi Yuen's Bak Guah", Peter highly recommended, (but at the end, he tell me that he never eat before) so I buy 300g of pork, and another 300g of beef. Its time to leave there, lookin' for a place to have our final lunch here. Republic Food Court @ Somerset, a very big food court. Found out some stranger thing here, girls standing on a special kind of motorcar selling drinks. Eh, not bad (the girls), its very convenience, Malaysia should follow this.

Going back to Toa Payoh's apartment by MRT after the lunch, girls having last shopping @ Toa Payoh's Supermarket, buying some snacks, WHAT!?!? Short rest, packing and check out, going to Changi Airport  by taxi. "Goodbye, my brother Peter!", don't worry bro, I will come again! Check in @ airport, refund GST, shopping around, and waitin' to leave Singapore. Feeling sad while sitting on the taxi along the way to airport, and even after step into the plane. Sad for Leaving, but Happy for Coming! "Goodbye, Singapore!" and "Goodbye, Emily, Jessica, and Sinwei!

Thankx for giving me such a wonderful moments during this 3 days trip! Miss You All, Bye Bye!!!"
